Ascension Lutheran is a warm, inviting and welcoming community of believers who come together to worship God, to learn from His word, and share in fellowship. We are deeply rooted in the gospel and proclaim Jesus Christ, as we experience God’s grace, love, and hope.

It's my privilege to serve this faith community. I grew up just south of here in Greeley, and previously served a rural mountain community on the Western Slope of Colorado. I also had previous careers as a professional soccer referee and a restauranteur. We would be honored to be invited into your faith story. Mark has led the Saturday Night Praise Band for many years. He brings his gift of music leadership as he joins the band from his seat at the piano.

Long time member Jo Hobbs is filing this position until the permanent candidate is hired. Jo brings a wealth of office experience in various administrative roles.
Barbara MacKenzie
AP Specialist
Barbara has been involved with the financial side of Ascension for many years in various capacities from Treasurer to Internal Auditor to Bookkeeper.

Position Announcement & Description
Church Office Administrator
Purpose of the Position: To provide a welcoming atmosphere in the office on the phone and in person and to provide administrative support for the church.
This is a part-time hourly position working 20 hours per week. Must be available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Hours and workload may vary based on workload.
